Here, the owners wanted a water theme and more. They required more than the average amount of sitting space for entertaining.
We made the pond the focal point of the landscape, using it to link the various patio spaces. The space begins with the small deck on the upper level. Steps descend from this deck to the screened-in gazebo. From here, one can view the entire landscape.
Steps from the gazebo lead to a secondary patio area. The garden edges are beamed for privacy provided by Pine, Oak, Colorado Spruce and Emerald Cedar plantings. This garden gives visitors such a feeling of seclusion that they’d never know they’re in the city.
